Jack has earned a Masters degree in professional counseling at Mercer University where he successfully completed his degree with a 4.0 GPA in May of 2009. While at Mercer, Jack completed course work in both secular and faith-based approaches. He is a Nationally Certified Counselor and processing his application for Licensure as an Associate Professional Counselor. Jack was licensed as a Minister in the local church and is an ordained Minister through Universal Life Church in Modesto, California. He is a member of The Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia (LPCAGA) and The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

Richard Blankenship currently directs Cornerstone Training, North Atlanta Center for Professional Counseling and Faithful & True – Atlanta; a program for male addicts, female addicts, spouses, and couples in recovery.  Richard is the president and director of the American Association of Certified Christian Sexual Addiction Specialists (AACCSAS).  He developed (with Dr. Mark Laaser) the first graduate course to be taught in sexual addiction counseling.  Richard guest lectures in a variety of courses.  Richard is a frequent guest on radio and television shows in the Atlanta area dealing with sexual addiction, coaddiction, spiritual abuse, and domestic violence.  He is also the author of the LIFE Guide For Young Men, S.A.R.A.H. (Spouses of Addicts Rebuilding and  Healing), and the LIFE Guide for Couples (with Jackie Coleman). Richard holds two masters degrees; an M.Ed. from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an M.A. from Harding University Graduate School.

















Richard is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with the state of Georgia, a nationally certified counselor (NCC) with the national board of certified counselors, and a certified clinical sexual addiction specialist (CCSAS).   He is married with two children and has practiced with churches and counseling centers for almost 25 years.

Eric Hoyme is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC). 

In individual therapy, Eric helps people dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and adjustment disorders.  His therapeutic style is emotions-focused and insight-oriented, while at the same time employing a variety of cognitive-behavioral interventions.

In young couples counseling, common issues that are addressed include communication skills, conflict resolution, finances, the sexual relationship, and family goals.

Jade Mazarin has a BA in Religion from Furman University and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont University (formerly Psychological Studies Institute.) She works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families around general counseling and relational issues. Jade is particularly interested in issues of emotional attachment and/or codependency as well as spiritual development. She is currently seeking publication for a Christian self-help book on letting go of unhealthy attachment. Jade is very interested in helping clients discover and grow into their potential, both emotionally and spiritually.

Joyce Tomblin leads Faithful and True spouses groups. She holds the master of education (M.Ed.) degree in counseling from Georgia State University. She has counseled professionally for 13 years. Joyce is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a certified clinical sexual addiction specialist (CCSAS).  She has extensive experience in leading therapy groups. Joyce is married and has four grown children.

Jesse Hopkins earned a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN.  Jesse has done additional theological graduate studies at Mid-America Theological Seminary in Germantown, TN.  Jesse has experience in individual and family counseling which came from a variety of settings such as group homes, residential treatment, juvenile detention, and intensive in-home family counseling.  In addition, Jesse is a licensed and ordained minister and has served on staff at a church serving in an educational ministries/associate pastor capacity.  In addition to his graduate studies, Jesse has attended numerous seminars to continue his educational endeavors in his areas of specialization:  grief recovery and

family counseling.  Jesse’s approach to counseling implements an integration of psychology and theology drawing heavily from the cognitive-behavioral theories of counseling.  In addition, he provides services to Portuguese-speaking clients through a translator.  Jesse is available for individual, family, and group counseling sessions.  In addition, grief education seminars, parenting, and other family related seminars can be scheduled.

Abbey considers it a privilege to work as a therapist, believing she has a calling to walk beside her clients as they gain new levels of insight, healing, freedom, and life. She completed a M.A. in Professional Counseling at Richmont Graduate University, and has undergone training that qualifies her to work with both youth and adults. She is especially interested in working with issues of abuse/trauma, sexual and gender identity, struggles with feelings of hopelessness, anxiety/fear, spiritual issues, and adjustments to difficult life circumstances. Prior to her graduate training, Abbey earned a B.S. in Music Education from Penn State University, and she also finds that some of her clients enjoy integrating aspects of the creative arts into counseling. Of Abbey, others have said that “Her warm and welcoming spirit is a comfort to her clients…” and that she has a “relentless curiosity about her conversation partners, non-judging attentiveness to their needs…Whether by nature or training, she clearly has the skills to be good at therapy.”

Marquita Johnson is a graduate of Mercer University with a M.S. in  Community Counseling.  Marquita has almost seven years experience in the social services fields.  She received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University in psychology & sociology.  She believes in counseling the “whole” person.  Integrating the physical, mental, and spiritual  taking into account the life paths and showing how they connect.  She is very dedicated about working within the community and bringing awareness about the importance of tending to mental health needs.  Marquita is currently completing her master of divinity (M.Div.) at Mercer University.  She is married and has two children.

Amber’s strength based holistic approach empowers her clients to recognize their choices and lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. She received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia and an M.S. in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. She is currently completing her Ed.S. from Georgia State University.  Her affiliations include membership with the American Counseling Association and the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia.  Additionally she is a registered Neutral with the State of Georgia and authorized to perform general civil mediations.

She uses her experience working with couples and families to enhance her practice in the area of relationships and conflict resolution.


Amber’s clinical experience includes providing individual, couples and group counseling in a variety of locations.  She has worked with Veterans and their family members at the Atlanta Veteran’s Center, she served as a survivor advocate at Dekalb Rape Crisis Center for several years and has also worked with children and adolescents in the custody of DFCS.   Her areas of specialization include couples and family work, working with individuals/families in the Military, Trauma/ PTSD and Grief/Bereavement issues.
