Cornerstone Psychotherapy
Welcome to Cornerstone Psychotherapy
Cornerstone Psychotherapy & Training exists to provide help for the community through a staff of psychotherapists with varied specialties and backgrounds. Cornerstone offers a new forum for individual, family, and group therapy with children, adolescents, and adults; and psychoeducational training.
The name “Cornerstone” highlights our belief that mental, spiritual, relational and physical well-being forms the foundation for healthy community. Our work reinforces these cornerstones of life; we then help people learn how to construct healthy lives, building on these fundamental cornerstones.
Our psychotherapists specialize in a variety of subjects. This list offers some examples and is not all-inclusive: abuse, mood disorders (i.e., anxiety and depression), grief, defiant/antisocial behavior, addictive behaviors, codependency, communication and other relational issues, separation, divorce, step families, foster families, trauma, emotional attachment, reactive attachment disorder, life direction, spiritual development, child and adolescent therapy, at risk children, women’s issues, assessments and psychological testing. We also work with both perpetrators and survivors of sexual abuse, providing counseling for clients of all ages to address a vast continuum of sexual issues.
At Cornerstone, we believe in repair and recovery. We believe that hope and healing can be found... that today’s problems and shortcomings do not have to be the same tomorrow.
All of our psychotherapists are under the clinical direction and supervision of Richard Blankenship.
